Recruitment & Retention Strategies

  • The school does provide scholarships to female students, "more comfortable hostel conditions" and "has simpler requirements for women to enter,” according to one instructor.
  • Offering the Networking Academy Program to students at MATI outside the IT major.

Recommendations

  • Offer the Networking Academy program to non-IT students.
  • Offer the Networking Academy program to professionals in the community.
  • Recruit from nearby schools that do not offer the Academy program.
  • Provide career support and job placement opportunities.
