In January 2000, Cisco Institute (CLI) partnered with Cisco Systems to establish gender-focused Cisco Networking Academies in India. CLI provided funds for a United Nations Volunteer (UNV), scholarships, and the development of a job placement cell at three Academies. GO

Mexico

The Cisco Learning Institute sponsored seven female Cisco Networking Academy Program students, in recognition for their outstanding academic performance, to attend the Cisco Networkers conference in Mexico City in September, 2002. GO

The Cisco Networking Academy Program has been established at 42 campuses of the Universidades Tecnológicas (hereafter referred to as UT) in Mexico.  GO
